Fresh Starts in San Diego
Last month, after living in the San Francisco Bay Area for a decade, I made the long-anticipated move back to San Diego.
After being gone for 10 years, I’ve returned back to the place that feels most like home to me.
I’m grateful for the last decade. Ten years have been defining for me both personally and professionally. I’ve allowed my personal experiences to affect how I run my counseling practice, including the areas I specialize in.
And now my desire to exit the hustle culture of the Bay has created the greatest upheaval in my professional world yet as I move my counseling practice to a whole new city - one I haven’t lived in since I was a grad student!
Despite the amount of change that’s come with this move, I’m very much looking forward to this new beginning as I set down roots in a place that feels simultaneously nostalgic and new.
